1. Introduction

Welcome to Chlikk CoParenting, a trading style of Chlikk Limited. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Business, which outline your rights and responsibilities as a user.

2. Subscription Plans and Pricing

Chlikk CoParenting offers three subscription plans:

Free: Free access to essential tools
Plus: £6.99 per month or £69.99 per year
Pro: £29.99 per month or £299.99 per year

Subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. All subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Pricing may be adjusted with prior notice.

One subscription covers both linked parents: when two parents link their accounts, both always have the same plan.

Free trial: from 9 October 2026 to 31 December 2026, new customers and Free plan customers can try Pro free for 30 days, subject to the 30-Day Pro Free Trial promotional terms. Linked parents share one trial.

4. Payment and Refund Policy

Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and refund requests for store purchases are handled under their refund policies. All charges are non-refundable unless required by law.

If you withdraw consent for data processing under our Privacy Policy and this affects your access to paid features, we may offer a pro-rata refund or credit. Requests must be emailed to enquiries@chlikkcoparenting.co.uk within 14 days.

4A. Cancellation Policy

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid further charges. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.

4B. Account Deletion Policy

You may delete your account through:

Settings → Manage Account Details → Delete Account

Once confirmed, deletion begins immediately and will be completed within 30 calendar days.

Deleted data includes:

Account information
Personal profile details
Documents or uploads not shared with your co-parent

Your co-parent will retain access to any data you previously shared with them. Account deletion is irreversible.

5. AI Features, Behavioural Safeguards & Intellectual Property Protection

Chlikk CoParenting includes proprietary AI technologies — CoGuard™, CoBreather™, and CoBreather™ Pro — developed exclusively by Chlikk Limited to support safe, respectful, and child-focused communication.

These systems are protected globally under UK copyright law, the Berne Convention, WIPO treaties, database rights, and international design protections.

5.1 CoGuard™ — AI Court-Order Compliance Checking

CoGuard™ analyses the wording of family court orders, non-molestation orders, bail conditions, and other legal documents provided by the user, and flags messages that may be non-compliant or high-risk.

It provides:

Pre-message compliance alerts
Warnings where communication may fall outside the order
Safer-message suggestions to help prevent accidental breaches

CoGuard™ does not interpret legal documents, make legal decisions, or provide legal advice.

5.2 CoBreather™ & CoBreather™ Pro — AI Conflict De-Escalation

Detects rapid or high-volume messaging and provides pause reminders to reduce reactive communication.

CoBreather™ Plus (Plus – coming soon)

Identifies emotional intensity and delivers non-blocking prompts to encourage calmer responses.

CoBreather™ Pro (Pro – active)

Provides advanced behavioural safeguards, including:

Emotional-context analysis
Hostility or blame detection
Predictive conflict modelling
High-risk message warnings before sending (messages are never blocked; you always choose what to send)
Suggested neutral rewording
Integrated operation alongside CoGuard™

Chlikk’s AI systems include:

These systems are continuously updated to reflect advancements in digital safety, emotional regulation, safeguarding, and high-conflict communication research.

5.4 Intellectual Property Protection

The following are protected by copyright, database rights, design rights and trademark law:

Emotional-scoring and safety algorithms
Processing and behavioural-intervention workflows
UX and UI designs
CoGuard™, CoBreather™, CoBreather™ Plus, and CoBreather™ Pro
All technical documentation and internal system logic

Unauthorised copying, reproduction, simulation, reverse engineering or imitation of these systems is strictly prohibited.

5.5 AI Limitations & Legal Responsibility

AI outputs may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate.

Users remain solely responsible for:

Complying with court orders and legal obligations
Verifying the accuracy of all communications
Seeking legal advice when necessary

Chlikk is not a legal advisor or law firm. All AI features are provided on an “as is” basis.

AI features are provided “as is.” Users must verify all outputs before acting on them.

7. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

Provide accurate account information
Communicate respectfully
Avoid harassment, abuse, or illegal behaviour
Maintain confidentiality of all information shared through the app

8. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, use of the app to harm others, harassment, or illegal activity.

Appeals may be sent to enquiries@chlikkcoparenting.co.uk and will be reviewed within 14 days.

Chlikk CoParenting is provided “as is.” We strive for uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
